Gagome is a type of kelp.
It is said that it came to be called "gagome kelp" because of the bumps on its surface that resemble the meshes of a basket.

Soak in water for 10 to 20 minutes, then add salad dressing, miso soup, noodles, soy sauce, etc. and serve on top of rice.
